441 colaboradores de la compañía se unieron a la jornada de “Nochebuena para Todos” en la que armaron cajas con alimentos y juguetes para alegrar la Nochebuena de 77 familias de Avellaneda, Pilar y provincia de San Luis.
Voluntarios de Kimberly-Clark, la compañía líder mundial en el desarrollo de productos descartables para la salud, la higiene y el cuidado personal, se unieron nuevamente a la jornada “Nochebuena para Todos”. Colaboradores de las plantas de Pilar, Bernal y San Luis, así como personal de las oficinas administrativas, armaron cajas navideñas con comida y juguetes para que 77 familias de bajos recursos puedan tener una Navidad diferente.
Las cajas fueron entregadas en el Jardín N°12 El Hornerito de Avellaneda junto a la Fundación Caminando Juntos, en el comedor Dejando Huella de la Fundación Niño Sano de San Luis, y en la Posta Sanitaria de Pilar, centro primario de salud que Kimberly-Clark impulsa en conjunto con la Facultad de Biomédicas de la Universidad Austral.
“Tal como lo hicimos durante todo 2016, buscamos que nuestros voluntarios tengan la oportunidad de sumarse a causas que los movilicen e incentivarlos a estar cada vez más cerca de nuestra comunidad”, comenta Fernando Hofmann, director de Asuntos Legales y Corporativos de LAO-Región Austral. “El Voluntariado siempre será para nosotros un pilar fundamental y la herramienta con la que nuestros colaboradores se vuelven embajadores de la marca”.
Esta jornada contó, además, con el apoyo del canal pañalero -proveedores pyme de distribución y venta de pañales con los que trabaja la compañía-, quienes también participaron en ésta iniciativa con sus familias.
“Ser voluntario y más en una fecha como ésta, es una manera genuina de ganar emociones. Es muy gratificante ser parte de esta causa portadora de gestos de humanidad. Pienso que cada alimento que invertimos, cada segundo que dedicamos se convierte en una oportunidad de hacer felices a personas que realmente lo necesitan. Es una invitación a que cada uno desde su lugar sume un grano de arena”, cuenta Laura Acosta, voluntaria de Kimberly-Clark y colaboradora del área de logística.
