En septiembre del 2015, Nissan América Latina (N-LATAM) estableció una subsidiaria de su total propiedad en la Argentina.El plan de la compañía es convertirse en productor nacional y gestionar directamente su distribución y ventas en el país.

En ese contexto asume Diego Vignati como líder de la nueva filial, por lo que su mandato se orientará a consolidar la presencia de Nissan en Argentina y fortalecer las bases para el crecimiento futuro. Vignati reportará a José Román, Director General de Nissan Latinoamérica y el Caribe (NLAC).
Vignati tiene 26 años de experiencia en la industria automotriz en Argentina, Chile y a nivel regional en América Latina.
Cuenta con amplia experiencia liderando equipos multifuncionales; y es reconocido en la industria automotriz por entregar resultados de negocio positivos mediante colaboración con la red de concesionarios.
Es licenciado en Marketing por la Universidad Argentina de la Empresa (UADE) y estará basado en Buenos Aires, Argentina.
