En 2017 realizó distintas obras por $ 597 millones. Para 2018 la empresa prevé desembolsar más de $ 1.700 millones en cumplimiento de su plan de inversiones para el quinquenio 2017-2021.

Durante 2017, Gas Natural Fenosa, ejecutó numerosas obras, por un total de 597 millones de pesos, a partir de las cuales se realizaron:

  • Refuerzos en la red de alta y media presión
  • Adecuación e instalación de nuevas plantas reguladoras
  • Obras de expansión para llevar el gas a nuevos barrios del conurbano bonaerense.

La expansión de red, durante 2017, benefició a numerosos barrios postergados, entre ellos Illía, Quijote, Aguaribay y El Molino, en Moreno; y El Hornero, Rayo de Sol, La Loma y Santa Catalina, en Marcos Paz; logrando el acceso al gas por red de 3.500 nuevas viviendas.

La empresa también buscó mejorar y optimizar el sistema de distribución, para lo cual realizó refuerzos en la red de media presión en municipios como Zárate, Luján, José C. Paz, Malvinas Argentinas, Moreno, Tres de Febrero y San Fernando.

A su vez, se han realizado ampliaciones de capacidad e instalación de Estaciones Reguladoras de Presión en San Fernando, Pilar, y José C. Paz, en tanto se están realizando obras en los municipios de San Martín, San Isidro, Tres de Febrero, José C. Paz, La Matanza y Exaltación de la Cruz.

Estas obras se encuentran en el marco del plan de inversiones presentado por la empresa para el quinquenio 2017-2021, en el cual invertirá 6.500 millones de pesos destinados a obras de infraestructura para expansión,  mantenimiento del sistema de distribución; seguridad del sistema de distribución; mejora del servicio aplicando nuevas tecnologías, y expansión del sistema de distribución mediante ejecución de nuevas redes de distribución.

Instalaciones internas en los hogares

Con el fin de facilitar que hogares de menores recursos que están sobre la red de gas puedan readecuar su instalación interna para llevar el gas natural a su hogar, se lanzaron distintas líneas de créditos junto a prestigiosas instituciones bancarias como el Banco Hipotecario y el Banco Ciudad para que, a través de cuotas, se pueda abonar financiada la instalación interna.
