El sábado finalizó Expoagro, la exposición agroindustrial a campo abierto más importante de la Argentina, organizada en forma conjunta por Clarín y La Nación.
Desde hace once años, la muestra ExpoAgro, reúne a productores agropecuarios, proveedores de tecnología, expertos del sector y referentes de la política, el empresariado y la sociedad civil.
A tono con el buen momento que atraviesa la Agroindustria, la Feria fue una muestra de la tecnología y sofisticación que ha alcanzado el agro argentino.
Un año de récords
La edición de este año se hizo por primera vez en un predio permanente ubicado en San Nicolás (Buenos Aires). En total hubo 380 stands con una superficie 40% mayor a la de años anteriores. La exposición ocupó 160 hectáreas, de las cuales 70 estaban cultivadas y destinadas a demostraciones dinámicas de maquinaria.
Los visitantes pudieron participar de rondas de negocio, actualizarse y debatir sobre los principales temas de la agenda agroindustrial. También, accedieron a paquetes de financiamiento específico de las entidades bancarias presentes.
Durante los primeros días, se realizaron 500 reuniones de negocios y se concretaron operaciones comerciales por más de $6.500 millones. Muchos de estos acuerdos se hicieron entre productores argentinos y extranjeros por ejemplo de Australia, Ucrania, Nueva Zelanda, Sudáfrica, Perú y Colombia.
Además, dentro del predio se instaló “Espacio Joven”, un lugar dedicado a las nuevas generaciones. Allí se puede acceder a novedosas apps y soluciones de tecnología de la información vinculadas al agro. También, las principales facultades presentan su oferta de carreras agropecuarias y la rama juvenil de las entidades rurales sus programas de capacitación y formación.
La importancia de la feria también se vio reflejada en los referentes de todo el arco político que se hicieron presentes. Se destacó la presencia del presidente Mauricio Macri; los gobernadores María Eugenia Vidal (Buenos Aires) y Miguel Lifschitz (Santa Fe); el jefe de Gabinete, Marcos Peña; los diputados Sergio Massa, Elisa Carrió y Felipe Solá; el ministro de Agroindustria de la Nación, Ricardo Buryaile; y el presidente del Banco Provincia de Buenos Aires, Juan Curuchet.
