En Mendoza, Dow Argentina convocó a un encuentro entre tecnología, sustentabilidad y construcción.
El hotel Sheraton de la provincia de Mendoza fue escenario de una nueva edición de “Encuentro Desempeño y Sustentabilidad en la Industria de la Construcción”, organizado por Dow. Allí, clientes y referentes de la industria debatieron ante 200 personas acerca de las nuevas tecnologías y herramientas tendientes a solucionar el problema del ahorro energético a través del aislamiento térmico.
Gabriel Rodríguez Garrido, director de Cadena de Valor de Infraestructura y Energía de Dow, fue el encargado de dar inicio a la jornada que reunió a ingenieros, arquitectos y especialistas en la materia. El ejecutivo destacó la importancia de trabajar en conjunto para derribar barreras y transformar los modelos de negocios en la industria de la construcción, resaltando las nuevas tecnologías disponibles para contribuir a este cambio: “En tiempos actuales, donde el tema del ahorro energético está en boca de todos, tenemos la responsabilidad de innovar y acercar herramientas eficientes que contribuyan a hacer un uso responsable de la energía, tanto para cuidar el bolsillo de la gente como a los efectos que su uso excesivo produce en el país y en el mundo”, señaló.
A él, lo siguió la primera conferencia del día, donde las olimpiadas fueron las protagonistas del debate. Como Compañía Oficial del Movimiento Olímpico y colaboradora activa en el Comité Organizador de los Juegos Olímpicos de la Juventud 2018, Dow se encuentra comprometida en acercar soluciones tendientes a mitigar la huella de carbono. En este sentido, Marcelo Fiszner, Director de Marketing de Poliuretano de la compañía, comentó acerca de los usos y beneficios del poliuretano en la construcción, reforzando la importancia de poner la química al servicio de las soluciones: “La energía más sustentable, es aquella que no se usa. Hoy en día, la construcción sustentable en la Argentina está orientada a grandes obras; y es nuestro desafío empezar a recorrer este camino en el ámbito de las viviendas familiares”, agregó el vocero.
