La mayoría de las personas con personal a cargo no fue capacitada para asumir el rol de jefe. Generalmente absorben la nueva responsabilidad realizando las mismas tareas que venían haciendo hasta ahora en su cargo anterior y como actividad complementaria, le anexan la “supervisación” de personal. Esta situación también se traslada muchas veces en posiciones gerenciales.

 

Dado que la conducción de personas requiere otras competencias, es muy probable que el nuevo líder empiece a trastabillar, generando un fuerte impacto emocional y económico tanto a nivel personal, grupal y organizacional. Los costos asociados a la falta de inducción hacia los nuevos conocimientos, habilidades y recursos requeridos para ser un jefe efectivo se perciben en la falta de resultados y en la imposibilidad de construir confianza en sus vínculos interpersonales.

El presente programa resulta una variable estratégica para el desarrollo del puesto de jefe pues inspecciona todos los aspectos más críticos que hacen al éxito de su función.

Objetivos

La actividad busca lograr que los participantes accedan a:

  • Un marco conceptual y actualizado sobre cómo conducir personas de manera constructiva y una mirada más integradora y estratégica de la posición.
  • Una batería de ejercicios y prácticas que resulta necesaria para poder internalizar los aprendizajes adquiridos y llevarlos a mejorar la calidad de las relaciones interpersonales y la efectividad de la toma de decisiones diaria.
  • Un trabajo práctico final que permita trasladar lo aprendido al ámbito laboral a través del desarrollo y exposición de un ejercicio de planificación, diagnóstico y análisis de la posición. Este documento escrito servirá de soporte para fundamentar y medir el rendimiento de la inversión realizada.

Destinatarios

La actividad está dirigida a gerentes, subgerentes, jefes, supervisores, coordinadores o analistas con aspiraciones a poder tener gente a su cargo. Los participantes deben contar con probada experiencia laboral y deseo de poder desarrollar su posición con mayor profundidad, alcance y resultados sostenibles en el tiempo para la organización.
