En la carrera que daba inicio a la temporada 2017 del DTM, disputada el sábado pasado, Nico Müller comenzaba como el mejor piloto de Audi con su octava posición en la grilla de largada, tras una difícil sesión de clasificación para los pilotos de Audi. Mike Rockenfeller y a Mattias Ekström estaban en las posiciones 16 y 17, respectivamente.
